Q: What eats an owl?
A: Good question! Owls are at the top of the food chain, like wolves and Bobcats, so for the most part, not much eats them. However, a baby owl may be killed and eaten by a predator and some of the smaller owls may be taken by a larger owl. The Great Horned Owl is quite large and powerful and is an opportunist which means it will take advantage of another animal, even another owl, if it is especially hungry or it can easily catch it.
