Q: i dont believe cottonmouths are currently living and breeding as a natural habitat here in kansas.we have recorded, finds of 2 specimens,in a isolated area of extreme s.e ks.mabey they swam upstream or were introduced.like the w.diamodbacks that have been found around kanapolis.i was hoping you could shed some current up to date info. on cottonmouths in ks. and if they are ,what is thier range.they are always listed with our natives and it just doesnt sit well with me.but im willing to accept that since introduction, they've made ks.their home.what are the chances of the w. diamonds that are here breeding to our native prairie rattler due to lack of its own species.any info. you want to give i would geratly appreciate, thank you & LORD bless you!
