Q: How soon can baby cardinals leave the nest?

Habitat: suburban/yard

State: Iowa

Habitat: suburban/yard

A: Baby Cardinals are able to fly (leave the nest) in about 9 to 10 days after hatching. They leave the nest as fledglings and are still cared for by their parents but gradually become totally independent. Thanks for asking.
