A-luring Tails

Q: Can you please ID a baby snake for me? I live in south GA. I found a snake about 8 in. long in my pool skimmer this A.M. It is solid black on very center of back with red striping turning into solid red on the very center of underside. Has round eyes and doesn't appear aggressive. I have it in a jar with air holes and will release it when I make sure it is non-venimous. I am not usually afraid of snakes when I know what variety they are, but I realize baby snakes change markings with age. Thank you.
