crayfish sex

Q: how can i tell if the crayfish is a boy or girl?

State: New York

A: Reasonable question, especially if you hope to have a pair and babies. The differences are not all that obvious unless you know where to look but I did find a website that shows the differences using preserved specimens. Take a look at this site and see if it helps at: bioweb.uwlax.edu

You'll need to pick up your animals to have a close look but this shouldn't be difficult. Thanks for asking.
