Skinks in the garage, how can I get rid of them?

Q: I have 2 big skinks in my garage, and every time I manage to chase one out, a few days later another one takes it's place. Is there anyway to keep these things out?

A: I'm unaware of anything you can do to keep them out unless you physically remove them and take them quite a distance from your home. However, you have some great, free bug zappers there! These lizards feed mostly on insects and other creepy crawlies so I'd say they're a real asset - I'll bet your cockroach population is much smaller! I realize you may feel a bit uncomfortable about having them, but if you don't bother them, they'll not bother you or any of your pets. Hope this helps.
