house sparrow

Q: i put up a birdhouse just a few days ago and already theres a female and male house sparrow making a nest i saw them alot but not seeing them as much i did im guessing they already layed eggs? i also put a birdhouse with a smaller hole made for house wrens and chickadees but none have appeared yet im guessing because its still early but apparently not to early for the 2 house sparrows.
