Q: This summer my dad forgot my baby turtle was in the car when I found him he was dead.It was not to cold.do you now why he was dead?
A: Your turtle may not have been too cold, but it sounds as though it may have gotten too hot! Although turtles like to sun themselves to warm up, once they are warm enough, they leave the sun. Your turtle probably got too hot in the car but was unable to cool off. It's important to remember that an ectotherm can die from being either too hot or too cold. Sorry about your turtle.
