Q: My mom says flys are bad. Why are they so bad.
A: I'm assuming that your mother is referring to the fact that the Common Housefly carries diseases. Houseflies aren't "good" or "bad" but can carry disease. They have a habit of walking over food, they're able to actually taste the food with their feet, and can pick up bacteria when doing so. Traveling from one food to another, they can transmit disease with ease.
