Hummingbirds

Q: When should I stop feeding the hummingbird here in North eastern Ky.

Habitat: suburban/yard

State: Kentucky

Habitat: suburban/yard

A: I can't give you an exact date but I figure that early Sept is about the end of the "hummingbird season". It's not easy to know when "your" hummers have left but keep in mind too that those migrating from north of you may use your feeders as they move through Kentucky on their way south. I usually leave mine up a week or so after I'm reasonably sure my local birds are no longer coming. Hope this helps.
