Q: Can doctors, use a goats eye to replace human eys?
A: I would think not. When tissue from donors is used, it is very important that it be as closely compatible with the recipient as possible. Getting an organ from an identical twin is best, a brother or sister next best and so on. Using human organs for transplantation into humans can work if certain drugs are used so the recipient's body will not reject the foreign material. However, using different animal's organs means the differences would be even greater and humans are more likely to reject these despite our best efforts. An exception to this, though might be the use of a goat's lens. The lens is rather inert (doesn't react with other tissue) and may be work however they now have artificial lens so doctors probably wouldn't use goat lenses anyway.
