Q: Do North American rabbits dig burrows the way European ones live in warrens?
A: No they do not. The European Rabbit is the only rabbit that makes warrens (underground maze of passageways). Rabbits in North America will use the burrows of other species such as Woodchucks but these are not excavated by them.
