nest over water

Q: I installed a bird house in the middle of our pond. It now has bluebird eggs in it. Will they be able to fly when they leave the nest, or have I doomed them to drown?

A: Matt, Interesting question. Are you sure they're Bluebird eggs? Tree Swallows often use Bluebird Boxes and they have a blue/green back. Check and let me know.
