Q: How do hummingbirds break out if their shell?

Habitat: suburban/yard

State: New Hampshire

Habitat: suburban/yard

A: Sam: all birds, hummingbirds included, have an "egg tooth" on the end of their bill that is used to break out of the shell. the "egg tooth" is shed soon after. Thanks for asking!
