very tiny snake like animal

Q: I found two very small snake like creatures. At first I thought it was a thin worm but then i saw how it put half its body in the air like a snake. i can not find out what kind of animal it is. The head and tail are white. And the tail can curl very tightly into a circle.

A: Oh boy, you've got me stumped on this one, Daniel! If these animals are thread thin, then they're definitely not snakes. Baby snakes are not all that thin and look exactly like what they are - small snakes. Nothing is coming to mind when I read your description so am at a loss to provide an answer. Sure wish you had a photo to share. The best I can come up with is that these are some kind of worm, although it still doesn't make any sense to me. Sorry I can't help any more than this. If you do figure it out, please get back to me and let me know.
