Antlers vs. Horns

Q: how can you tell the

difference between

a cow horn and a

buffalo horn

State: California

A: The best way I know how to tell them apart would be to compare the horn you have with pictures of Buffalo and cow horns. A Buffalo horn has a typical curve to it that I don't think you'll see in most/any cow horns. Keep in mind when you're doing the comparison that different breeds of cows will have different looking horns, so don't let that throw you off. Hope this helps and that after 20 years you can put an animal's name to your item. Thanks for your question.
