Q: what are the benefits of being a naturalist?

A: Probably the biggest benefit is that you get to work with and learn about animals and plants. The natural world is extremely interesting and the more one finds out about it, the more this is true. So, a naturalist gets to be around the "real" world for their career and often is even paid to do so. No matter where a naturalist is in the world, even in big cities, there are interesting bits of nature that can be observed and enjoyed.

Hope this answers your question. Thanks for asking.
