Q: dimictic

cold monomictic

warm monomictic

amicitc

poly mictic

Whats the importance >??

A: These terms, as you probably already know, refer to different types of lakes around the world with regard to the ability of their waters to mix. The importance of these differences is that the kind of mixing that takes place can dramatically affect the kind of organisms that live there. Science always likes to have terms for everything and this is an example of giving a name to all of the possibilities regarding this phenomenon. Hope this helps.
