Take Your Pick

Q: When I was cleaning out the attic, I found a nest with eggs and relocated it. How should I keep it alive without an incubator? Do I need one if I live in a hot country?

A: There is no way you'll be able to keep those eggs at a temperature they need for hatching. Even if you have an incubator, without knowing what species you're working with, it would be difficult for you to know how to proceed. Unless the parents return and accept the nest's new location there isn't much you can do. Let's hope the birds will renest - birds often will do this if it is early enough in the year. Sorry I can't give you a more optimistic bit of information.
