wolf spider

Q: Is there any type of wolf spider found in saskatchewan Canada?

Habitat: suburban/yard

State: Saskatchewan

Habitat: suburban/yard

A: Saskatchewan is a large north-south province so I can't say for sure that all of the province has wolf spiders but certainly there are some in the southern region. There are more than 100 different species of wolf spiders across North America but I can't give you a specific species for your area. One habitat where I've always found many wolf spiders has been in rocky areas along creeks. Give that a try in your area and see if you can't find some of these active spiders living there among the rocks. Thanks for asking.
