Kidneys

Q: thanks for the last answers. they hepled bunches.

Why would you expect the kidney to have a rich supply of blood?

A: The kidney performs an extremely important function - it removes waste products from your blood. The kidney has an especially good blood supply because ALL of your body's blood needs to pass through these two organs many times each day. Without your kidney's function, various waste products would build up in your body and cause death within a short period. It's interesting to note that a person can live with only one kidney but two are certainly better. Thanks for asking.
