Q: How long does it take to grow a pine tree?
A: If you're talking about growing a pine tree to reasonable size (a tree that will give your whole body shade), it will take many years. But tree growth is dependent on so many different things - soil, weather, competition, moisture, insects, temperature - that it's difficult to predict. In fact, if you plant two trees right next to each other, it's not unusual for one to grow much more rapidly than the other - trees differ just like people. Sorry I can't give you more info than this but thanks for asking.
