Scropion with babies

Q: After I separate the babies from the mother scropion, what do I feed the babies?

Habitat: suburban/yard

State: Texas

Habitat: suburban/yard

A: Gosh, sounds very interesting - I've never had a scorpion before! Keep in mind that scorpions are often cannabalistic so you may not be able to keep them all together long. Since scorpions are small predators, they feed on an assortment of insects, spiders, and even centipedes - whatever comes within reach that isn't too large. Your baby scorpions probably won't eat for a short time but then will need some kind of livecritter to feed on. I found a very interesting site that may give you a start for answering your question. Take a look at www.szgdocent.org

Best of luck to you. Hope your son can share this special animal with the kids at school. Thanks for asking.
