Goosebumps

Q: Where does the name Goosebumps come from?

A: If you've ever seen a grocery store chicken, you've probably seen the bumps on their skin. Each bump is a place where a feather was attached. Geese too have these bumps and someone, long ago, made the association between the tiny bumps on our skin when we're cold with the bumps on a goose's skin.
