Antlers vs. Horns

Q: I asked about identifying a skull with horns. I will attach a photo this time. The horns don't look right for a bison, to me. But I don't know...

A: You're right, this is definitely not an American Buffalo. The photos were quite helpful. I'm quite sure this is an Asian Water Buffalo and I have a website you can go to for a couple of photos. Although there are also Water Buffalos in Africa, they don't have the horn ribbing that the Asian ones have that is clearly shown in your photos. Impressive skull and thanks for asking.
