Q: What is the correct diet for a chipmink
A: It's not clear to me if you're asking about a pet chipmunk or a wild one. Wild chipmunks eat a varied diet that includes acorns and other nuts, berries, seeds, flowers, roots, mushrooms, snails and even a bit of carrion. Their diet fluctuates over the year depending on what is available at any given time and they also store food underground to provide food over the winter.
If you have a pet, be sure to vary its diet so it gets an assortment of nutrients. Hope this helps. Thanks for your question.
