Q: What type of Rodents do owls eat? thank you.
A: There are a lot of different rodents, so knowing which ones owls eat varies depending on the size of the owl, where it lives, and how it hunts for food. Since most owls hunt at night, just as you'd expect, most catch animals that are active at night. For the most part, it is the mice and rats that are activge at night although voles and lemmings, even Flying Squirrels, may be caught too.
