scorpions

Q: I live in oregon and I have been finding scorpions, I was wondering if they are piosoness,what kind they are and any other information you have on them.

A: Scorpions are indeed poisonous (venomous) just like spiders although most are not dangerous to humans. Oregon does have a scorpion called the Northern Scorpion (Paruroctonus boreus) that is found in the eastern part of the state where it is drier. I did find a site that has some info on your species but I'm sure there are others.
