Fishing for Gold

Q: At 70 degrees about how many breaths would a goldfish take in a tank? Would the difference be very noticable in water warmer by 10 degrees or colder by 10 degrees?
A: I'm not sure how many gulps of water a goldfish would take in at 70F - I'd have to count them myself.
It would make a great mini-project for you to try and determine the number of gulps of water at 60F, 70F and 80F. I think you'd find the difference quite obvious. If you are able to work this out, send me the results and we'll publish them on Enaturalist.
